The TIRAP Polyclonal Antibody (CAB1943) is a valuable tool for researchers studying TIRAP, an adaptor protein involved in toll-like receptor signaling pathways. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By targeting the TIRAP protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis of TIRAP expression in a variety of cell types.TIRAP, also known as MAL, is a crucial player in the innate immune response, functioning in the recognition of microbial pathogens and activation of inflammatory pathways.
Dysregulation of TIRAP has been implicated in various inflammatory conditions and infectious diseases, making it a promising target for therapeutic intervention. The ability to accurately detect and quantify TIRAP levels in experimental settings is essential for advancing our understanding of immune signaling mechanisms and developing targeted therapies.

The innate immune system recognizes microbial pathogens through Toll-like receptors (TLRs), which identify pathogen-associated molecular patterns. Different TLRs recognize different pathogen-associated molecular patterns and all TLRs have a Toll-interleukin 1 receptor (TIR) domain, which is responsible for signal transduction. The protein encoded by this gene is a TIR adaptor protein involved in the TLR4 signaling pathway of the immune system. It activates NF-kappa-B, MAPK1, MAPK3 and JNK, which then results in cytokine secretion and the inflammatory response. Alternative splicing of this gene results in several transcript variants; however, not all variants have been fully described.
