The TIRAP Polyclonal Antibody (CAB12606) is a valuable tool for researchers studying Toll/Interleukin-1 receptor domain-containing adapter protein (TIRAP) in immune responses. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By targeting the TIRAP protein, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of TIRAP in various cell types, making it an excellent choice for studies in immunology and infectious diseases research.TIRAP is a crucial adaptor molecule in the Toll-like receptor (TLR) signaling pathway, playing a key role in innate immune responses to microbial pathogens.
Understanding the function of TIRAP is essential for unraveling the mechanisms underlying immune activation and inflammatory processes in conditions such as sepsis, autoimmune diseases, and inflammatory disorders. The TIRAP Polyclonal Antibody offers researchers a reliable tool for investigating the role of TIRAP in these contexts, paving the way for potential therapeutic interventions targeting the TLR signaling pathway.

The innate immune system recognizes microbial pathogens through Toll-like receptors (TLRs), which identify pathogen-associated molecular patterns. Different TLRs recognize different pathogen-associated molecular patterns and all TLRs have a Toll-interleukin 1 receptor (TIR) domain, which is responsible for signal transduction. The protein encoded by this gene is a TIR adaptor protein involved in the TLR4 signaling pathway of the immune system. It activates NF-kappa-B, MAPK1, MAPK3 and JNK, which then results in cytokine secretion and the inflammatory response. Alternative splicing of this gene results in several transcript variants; however, not all variants have been fully described.
