TGF beta Receptor II (TGFBR2) Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (CAB11765)
The TGFBR2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB11765) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the TGFBR2 protein, part of the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) signaling pathway involved in cell growth, differentiation, and immune response regulation. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high specificity for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.TGFBR2 plays a crucial role in mediating the effects of TGF-β signaling by regulating various cellular processes, such as apoptosis, proliferation, and differentiation. Dysregulation of this pathway has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, fibrosis, and immune disorders.
Therefore, the TGFBR2 Polyclonal Antibody is an essential tool for studying the function and activity of TGFBR2 in different cellular contexts.By using the TGFBR2 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can detect and analyze TGFBR2 protein levels in a variety of cell types, shedding light on the role of TGF-β signaling in normal physiology and disease pathology. This antibody is a valuable asset for investigations in cancer research, immunology, and other fields where TGFBR2 function is of interest.

The protein encoded by this gene is a transmembrane protein that has a protein kinase domain, forms a heterodimeric complex with TGF-beta receptor type-1, and binds TGF-beta. This receptor/ligand complex phosphorylates proteins, which then enter the nucleus and regulate the transcription of genes related to cell proliferation, cell cycle arrest, wound healing, immunosuppression, and tumorigenesis. Mutations in this gene have been associated with Marfan Syndrome, Loeys-Deitz Aortic Aneurysm Syndrome, and the development of various types of tumors. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been characterized.
