TGF beta Receptor II (TGFBR2) Monoclonal Antibody (CAB22471)
The TGF-beta Receptor II (TGFBR2) Monoclonal Antibody from Assay Genie is a powerful tool for researchers studying TGFBR2, a cell surface receptor involved in TGF-beta signaling pathways. This antibody, produced in a monoclonal format, is specifically designed for use in applications such as Western blot analysis and immunohistochemistry.TGFBR2 is a crucial component in the TGF-beta signaling pathway, which plays a key role in cell growth, differentiation, and immune response regulation. Dysregulation of this pathway has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, fibrosis, and autoimmune disorders.
By targeting TGFBR2 with this monoclonal antibody, researchers can further investigate the role of this receptor in disease progression and potentially develop targeted therapies. When using the TGFBR2 Monoclonal Antibody from Assay Genie, researchers can expect high specificity and sensitivity for detecting TGFBR2 protein in human samples. This antibody is a valuable tool for studies in cancer biology, immunology, and molecular signaling pathways, helping to advance our understanding of TGF-beta signaling and its implications in human health and disease.

The protein encoded by this gene is a transmembrane protein that has a protein kinase domain, forms a heterodimeric complex with TGF-beta receptor type-1, and binds TGF-beta. This receptor/ligand complex phosphorylates proteins, which then enter the nucleus and regulate the transcription of genes related to cell proliferation, cell cycle arrest, wound healing, immunosuppression, and tumorigenesis. Mutations in this gene have been associated with Marfan Syndrome, Loeys-Deitz Aortic Aneurysm Syndrome, and the development of various types of tumors. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been characterized.
