The TCL1A Polyclonal Antibody (CAB0629) is a specialized tool for researchers studying the TCL1A protein, which is known to play a role in cancer development and progression. This antibody is generated in rabbits and has a high specificity for human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot applications to detect and analyze TCL1A expression in various types of cells.TCL1A is a key player in promoting cell growth and survival, particularly in lymphoid cells, and its overexpression has been linked to the pathogenesis of certain types of lymphomas and leukemias.
By targeting TCL1A with this antibody, researchers can gain valuable insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying cancer development and potentially identify new therapeutic strategies. With its ability to specifically bind to TCL1A, this polyclonal antibody opens up new avenues for studying the role of TCL1A in cancer biology and may lead to the discovery of novel biomarkers or therapeutic targets for treating TCL1A-related malignancies. Illuminate the path to advancements in cancer research with the TCL1A Polyclonal Antibody (CAB0629).

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-114 of human TCL1A (NP_001092195.1).
Overexpression of the TCL1 gene in humans has been implicated in the development of mature T cell leukemia, in which chromosomal rearrangements bring the TCL1 gene in close proximity to the T-cell antigen receptor (TCR)-alpha (MIM 186880) or TCR-beta (MIM 186930) regulatory elements (summarized by Virgilio et al., 1998 [PubMed 9520462]). In normal T cells TCL1 is expressed in CD4-/CD8- cells, but not in cells at later stages of differentiation. TCL1 functions as a coactivator of the cell survival kinase AKT (MIM 164730) (Laine et al., 2000 [PubMed 10983986]).
