The TCF4 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (CAB16980) is a valuable research tool for studying the transcription factor 4 (TCF4) protein, which plays a critical role in gene regulation and cell differentiation. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific and reactive with human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications.TCF4 is known to be involved in various cellular processes, including development, differentiation, and proliferation. Dysregulation of TCF4 has been linked to several diseases, such as neurodevelopmental disorders and certain types of cancer.
By using the TCF4 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can investigate the expression and localization of TCF4 in different cell types and tissues, furthering our understanding of its function in normal and disease states.Overall, the TCF4 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody is a powerful tool for researchers studying gene regulation, cell differentiation, and the role of TCF4 in disease pathways. Its high specificity and reactivity with human samples make it a reliable choice for experiments aimed at uncovering the molecular mechanisms underlying various physiological and pathological processes.

This gene encodes transcription factor 4, a basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor. The encoded protein recognizes an Ephrussi-box ('E-box') binding site ('CANNTG') - a motif first identified in immunoglobulin enhancers. This gene is broadly expressed, and may play an important role in nervous system development. Defects in this gene are a cause of Pitt-Hopkins syndrome. In addition, an intronic CTG repeat normally numbering 10-37 repeat units can expand to >50 repeat units and cause Fuchs endothelial corneal dystrophy. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants that encode different proteins have been described.
