The TCF4 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15000) is a powerful tool for researchers studying TCF4, a transcription factor involved in various cellular processes, including cell differentiation and proliferation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the TCF4 protein, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of TCF4 expression in a variety of cell types, making it an essential asset for studies in developmental biology, cancer research, and neurobiology.
TCF4, also known as E2-2, plays a pivotal role in the regulation of gene expression and is implicated in numerous disease processes, including cancer and neurodevelopmental disorders. Understanding the function of TCF4 is crucial for unraveling its contribution to disease pathogenesis and for developing targeted therapies. With its specificity and reliability, the TCF4 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15000) is an indispensable tool for researchers aiming to elucidate the role of TCF4 in health and disease.

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 400-500 of human TCF4 (NP_003190.1).
This gene encodes transcription factor 4, a basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor. The encoded protein recognizes an Ephrussi-box ('E-box') binding site ('CANNTG') - a motif first identified in immunoglobulin enhancers. This gene is broadly expressed, and may play an important role in nervous system development. Defects in this gene are a cause of Pitt-Hopkins syndrome. In addition, an intronic CTG repeat normally numbering 10-37 repeat units can expand to >50 repeat units and cause Fuchs endothelial corneal dystrophy. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants that encode different proteins have been described.
