The SULF1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB13797) is a valuable tool for researchers studying SULF1, an enzyme involved in modifying heparan sulfate proteoglycans. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the SULF1 protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it ideal for immunology and cancer research studies.SULF1 plays a crucial role in regulating signaling pathways involved in cell growth, differentiation, and migration.
Dysregulation of SULF1 has been linked to various diseases, including cancer and inflammation disorders. Understanding the function of SULF1 is essential for the development of targeted therapies aimed at modulating its activity for therapeutic purposes.Overall, the SULF1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB13797) is a valuable tool for researchers looking to investigate the role of SULF1 in disease processes and explore its potential as a therapeutic target.
Product Name:
SULF1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB13797
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 480-610 of human SULF1 (NP_001121676.1).
This gene encodes an extracellular heparan sulfate endosulfatase. The encoded enzyme selectively removes 6-O-sulfate groups from heparan sulfate chains of heparan sulfate proteoglycans (HSPGs). The enzyme is secreted through the Golgi and is subsequently localized to the cell surface. The expression of this gene may be down-regulated in several types of cancer, including hepatocellular (HCC), ovarian and breast cancers. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
