Description
STAT1 Monoclonal Antibody [PAT1F4A] (CPAB0172)
The STAT1 Antibody (CPAB0172) is a high-quality polyclonal antibody designed for research on STAT1, a transcription factor implicated in signal transduction pathways involved in immune responses. This antibody is produced in rabbits and exhibits strong reactivity with human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to STAT1 protein, this antibody allows for precise detection and analysis in various cell types, making it a valuable tool for studies in immunology and cancer research.STAT1, also known as signal transducer and activator of transcription 1, plays a crucial role in mediating responses to interferons and other cytokines, regulating immune cell function and inflammation.
Its involvement in immune signaling pathways makes it a key target for research into diseases such as cancer, autoimmune disorders, and infectious diseases. Understanding the function of STAT1 is essential for developing therapies that modulate immune responses and target specific disease pathways.Overall, the STAT1 Antibody (CPAB0172) offers researchers a reliable tool for investigating the role of STAT1 in immunity and disease, providing valuable insights for the development of novel treatments and therapies.

Background: | STAT1 is a member of the Signal Transducers and Activators of Transcriptionfamily of transcription factors. STAT1 is involved in upregulating genes due to a signal by either type Ior type IIinterferons. In response to IFN-?stimulation, STAT1 forms homodimers or heterodimers with STAT3that bind to the GAS (Interferon-Gamma Activated Sequence) promoter element; in response to either IFN-? or IFN-?stimulation, STAT1 forms a heterodimer with STAT2that can bind the ISRE (Interferon Stimulated Response Element) promoter element. In either case, binding of the promoter element leads to an increased expression of ISG (Interferon Stimulated Genes). |
