The SRSF11 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB18404) is a highly specific tool for researchers studying the splicing factor SRSF11. This rabbit polyclonal antibody is reactive with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the SRSF11 protein, this antibody allows for reliable detection and analysis in various cell types, making it an ideal choice for studies in RNA splicing and gene regulation.SRSF11 is a key player in the complex process of spliceosome assembly and mRNA splicing, contributing to the diversity of proteins produced by a single gene.
Dysregulation of SRSF11 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and genetic disorders, making it a target of interest for researchers in the fields of molecular biology and genetics. Understanding the role of SRSF11 in splicing regulation is essential for advancing our knowledge of gene expression and developing targeted therapies for diseases associated with splicing defects.
Product Name:
SRSF11 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB18404
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 396-483 of human SRSF11 (NP_001177916).
This gene encodes 54-kD nuclear protein that contains an arginine/serine-rich region similar to segments found in pre-mRNA splicing factors. Although the function of this protein is not yet known, structure and immunolocalization data suggest that it may play a role in pre-mRNA processing. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different proteins. In addition, a pseudogene of this gene has been found on chromosome 12.
