The Spry2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB1855) is a valuable tool for researchers studying Spry2, a protein involved in the regulation of cellular signaling pathways. This antibody, produced through the immunization of rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.Spry2 plays a key role in the modulation of growth factor signaling and has been implicated in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and migration. By targeting Spry2, researchers can gain insights into the mechanisms underlying these cellular processes and their dysregulation in diseases like cancer and developmental disorders.
The availability of the Spry2 Polyclonal Antibody offers researchers a reliable means of detecting and analyzing Spry2 protein levels in different cell types, making it a valuable tool for studies in cell biology, cancer biology, and developmental biology. By understanding the functions of Spry2, researchers can potentially uncover novel therapeutic targets for the treatment of diseases associated with aberrant cellular signaling pathways.

This gene encodes a protein belonging to the sprouty family. The encoded protein contains a carboxyl-terminal cysteine-rich domain essential for the inhibitory activity on receptor tyrosine kinase signaling proteins and is required for growth factor stimulated translocation of the protein to membrane ruffles. In primary dermal endothelial cells this gene is transiently upregulated in response to fibroblast growth factor two. This protein is indirectly involved in the non-cell autonomous inhibitory effect on fibroblast growth factor two signaling. The protein interacts with Cas-Br-M (murine) ectropic retroviral transforming sequence, and can function as a bimodal regulator of epidermal growth factor receptor/mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling. This protein may play a role in alveoli branching during lung development as shown by a similar mouse protein.
