The SPINK6 Antibody (PAC057220) is a key tool for researchers studying SPINK6, a serine protease inhibitor involved in skin barrier function and inflammatory responses. This polyclonal antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in various applications, particularly in immunohistochemistry studies.SPINK6 is known for its role in regulating protease activity in the skin, helping to maintain the integrity of the skin barrier and prevent excessive inflammation.
Dysregulation of SPINK6 has been linked to various skin conditions, making it a target of interest in dermatology research. By using the SPINK6 Antibody, researchers can effectively detect and study SPINK6 expression in skin tissues, contributing to a deeper understanding of its function and potential therapeutic applications in skin disorders.

Recombinant Human Serine protease inhibitor Kazal-type 6 protein (24-80AA)
IHC image of PACO57220 diluted at 1:400 and staining in paraffin-embedded human tonsil tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.

NCBI Summary:
The protein encoded by this gene is a Kazal-type serine protease inhibitor that acts on kallikrein-related peptidases in the skin. Two transcript variants the same protein have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2010]
