The SPATA6 Monoclonal Antibody (PAC015161) is a valuable tool for researchers studying SPATA6, a protein involved in spermatogenesis and fertility. This antibody, produced in mice, is highly specific for SPATA6 in human samples and is validated for use in immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry applications.SPATA6, also known as spermatogenesis-associated protein 6, is essential for the formation of sperm cells and proper reproductive function. Dysregulation of SPATA6 has been implicated in male infertility and reproductive disorders, making it a target for further investigation in the field of reproductive biology.
By using the SPATA6 Monoclonal Antibody, researchers can accurately detect and analyze SPATA6 expression in a variety of cell types and tissue samples. This antibody is an invaluable tool for studying the role of SPATA6 in spermatogenesis, fertility, and reproductive health, advancing our understanding of male fertility and potential treatments for infertility.

Background:
SPATA6 (spermatogenesis associated 6), also known as SRF1, is a 488 amino acid, secreted protein that may be involved in spermatid maturation or sperm function. SPATA6 is expressed during embryonic development and is localized in neural tube, somites and limb buds of mouse embryo. Existing as two isoforms produced by alternative splicing events, the gene encoding SPATA6 maps to mouse chromosome 4 and human chromosome 1.
