The SOCS3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB0694) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the SOCS3 protein, a key regulator of cytokine signaling and immune response. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications.SOCS3, also known as suppressor of cytokine signaling 3, plays a crucial role in negative feedback regulation of cytokine signaling pathways, particularly those involved in inflammation and immune response. Dysregulation of SOCS3 has been implicated in a variety of diseases, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and metabolic diseases.
By utilizing the SOCS3 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can investigate the expression levels and localization of SOCS3 in various cell types and tissues, providing valuable insights into the mechanisms of immune regulation and potential therapeutic targets. This antibody is an essential tool for studies in immunology, oncology, and inflammation research, offering a deeper understanding of SOCS3 function and its role in disease pathology.

This gene encodes a member of the STAT-induced STAT inhibitor (SSI), also known as suppressor of cytokine signaling (SOCS), family. SSI family members are cytokine-inducible negative regulators of cytokine signaling. The expression of this gene is induced by various cytokines, including IL6, IL10, and interferon (IFN)-gamma. The protein encoded by this gene can bind to JAK2 kinase, and inhibit the activity of JAK2 kinase. Studies of the mouse counterpart of this gene suggested the roles of this gene in the negative regulation of fetal liver hematopoiesis, and placental development.
