The SNX12 Monoclonal Antibody (PACO58600) is an essential tool for researchers studying SNX12, a member of the sorting nexin family known for its role in endosomal trafficking and membrane protein recycling. This antibody, produced using cutting-edge technology, specifically targets SNX12 in human samples and has been validated for use in various applications, including Western blot and immunohistochemistry.SNX12 is a key regulator of endosomal sorting and membrane trafficking processes, playing a crucial role in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Its involvement in protein transport and membrane remodeling makes it a promising target for investigating cellular pathways implicated in various diseases, such as neurodegenerative disorders, cancer, and metabolic conditions.
Understanding the function of SNX12 can provide valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying these diseases and potentially uncover new therapeutic targets. In summary, the SNX12 Monoclonal Antibody (PACO58600) offers researchers a reliable tool for studying the function and regulation of SNX12 in cellular processes, with the potential to advance our understanding of disease mechanisms and facilitate the development of targeted therapies.
IHC image of PACO58600 diluted at 1:600 and staining in paraffin-embedded human kidney tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.
Western Blot. Positive WB detected in: PC-3 whole cell lysate, A549 whole cell lysate. All lanes: SNX12 antibody at 2.83µg/ml. Secondary. Goat polyclonal to rabbit IgG at 1/50000 dilution. Predicted band size: 20, 19 kDa. Observed band size: 20 kDa.
Immunofluorescence staining of A549 cells with PACO58600 at 1:200, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).

NCBI Summary:
This gene encodes a member of the sorting nexin family. Members of this family contain a phox (PX) domain, which is a phosphoinositide binding domain, and are involved in intracellular trafficking. This protein does not contain a coiled coil region, like some family members. A similar protein in mouse may be involved in regulating the neurite outgrowth. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jan 2012]
