The SLC39A10 Polyclonal Antibody (PACO63519) is a valuable tool for researchers studying SLC39A10, a critical protein involved in zinc transport and homeostasis. This antibody, raised in rabbits, shows high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to the SLC39A10 protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an essential component for studies in zinc biology, metabolism, and related diseases.SLC39A10, also known as ZIP10, is a member of the SLC39 family of zinc transporters and plays a vital role in maintaining cellular zinc levels.
Dysregulation of SLC39A10 has been linked to various health conditions, including neurological disorders, immune dysfunction, and metabolic diseases. Research into SLC39A10 function is crucial for understanding the role of zinc in human health and disease and for developing targeted therapies to address zinc-related disorders. With its specificity and reliability, the SLC39A10 Polyclonal Antibody (PACO63519) is the perfect tool for investigating the functions and mechanisms of SLC39A10 in various biological contexts, providing valuable insights into zinc biology and its impact on human health.
IHC image of PACO63519 diluted at 1:100 and staining in paraffin-embedded human pancreatic cancer performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.
Immunofluorescence staining of Hela cells with PACO63519 at 1:50, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).

NCBI Summary:
Zinc is an essential cofactor for hundreds of enzymes. It is involved in protein, nucleic acid, carbohydrate, and lipid metabolism, as well as in the control of gene transcription, growth, development, and differentiation. SLC39A10 belongs to a subfamily of proteins that show structural characteristics of zinc transporters (Taylor and Nicholson, 2003 [PubMed 12659941]).[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008]
