The SLC34A3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB16168) is a vital tool for research involving SLC34A3, a sodium-phosphate transporter protein that plays a crucial role in phosphate homeostasis and bone mineralization. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity towards human samples and has been validated for use in various applications, including Western blot analysis.SLC34A3 is essential for the reabsorption of phosphate in the kidneys and intestine, contributing to the regulation of phosphate levels in the body. Dysregulation of SLC34A3 has been associated with phosphate wasting disorders and abnormalities in bone development.
Therefore, the SLC34A3 Polyclonal Antibody is instrumental in studying the expression and function of SLC34A3 in different cell types and tissues, providing valuable insights for research in nephrology, bone biology, and mineral metabolism.By targeting SLC34A3, researchers can unravel the mechanisms underlying phosphate transport and its impact on various physiological processes. The antibody's ability to detect SLC34A3 protein levels enables detailed analysis of its role in phosphate homeostasis, offering potential avenues for therapeutic interventions in conditions related to phosphate imbalance and bone health.

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-117 of human SLC34A3 (NP_063949.2).
This gene encodes a member of SLC34A transporter family of proteins, and is expressed primarily in the kidney. It is involved in transporting phosphate into cells via sodium cotransport in the renal brush border membrane, and contributes to the maintenance of inorganic phosphate concentration in the kidney. Mutations in this gene are associated with hereditary hypophosphatemic rickets with hypercalciuria. Alternatively spliced transcript variants varying in the 5' UTR have been found for this gene.
