The SH3RF1 Polyclonal Antibody (PAC059197) is a vital tool for researchers studying SH3RF1, a protein involved in regulating cellular processes such as cell growth and division. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the SH3RF1 protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it ideal for research in cell biology and cancer studies.SH3RF1, also known as a regulator of cell growth and division, plays a crucial role in controlling key cellular functions and signaling pathways.
Its involvement in regulating cell processes makes it a valuable target for investigating cellular mechanisms and potential therapeutic interventions in diseases like cancer and developmental disorders. By understanding the functions of SH3RF1, researchers can gain insights into its role in disease pathogenesis and identify new strategies for targeting this protein in clinical applications.

Immunofluorescence staining of Hela cells with PACO59197 at 1:200, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).
Background:
Acts as a scaffold protein, contributes to Rac-induced signal transduction such as JNKs (MAPK8 and MAPK9) activation and induces apoptosis. Within a signaling complex, it probably recruits protein kinases such as MAP3K10 or MAP3K11 which are in turn activated leading to the sequential activation of MAP2K4, MAP2K7 and JNKs (MAPK8 and MAPK9) (By similarity). May be involved in targeting of HIV-1 GAG and GAG-POL polyproteins to the plasma membrane.
