The SFRS9 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB4242) is a valuable tool for researchers studying SFRS9, a splicing factor protein involved in mRNA processing and alternative splicing. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity towards human samples, making it an ideal choice for Western blot applications.SFRS9 is known to play a crucial role in regulating gene expression and protein diversity by controlling the splicing of pre-mRNA molecules. Dysregulation of SFRS9 has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and developmental abnormalities.
Therefore, investigating the function and regulation of SFRS9 is essential for understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying these conditions.By utilizing the SFRS9 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can accurately detect and analyze SFRS9 protein expression in different cell types and tissues, facilitating in-depth studies on its biological functions and potential therapeutic targeting. This antibody is a valuable asset for scientists engaged in molecular biology, biochemistry, and genetics research aimed at unraveling the complex roles of SFRS9 in health and disease.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the serine/arginine (SR)-rich family of pre-mRNA splicing factors, which constitute part of the spliceosome. Each of these factors contains an RNA recognition motif (RRM) for binding RNA and an RS domain for binding other proteins. The RS domain is rich in serine and arginine residues and facilitates interaction between different SR splicing factors. In addition to being critical for mRNA splicing, the SR proteins have also been shown to be involved in mRNA export from the nucleus and in translation. Two pseudogenes, one on chromosome 15 and the other on chromosome 21, have been found for this gene.
