The Serpine1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB12102) is a valuable tool for research involving the Serpine1 protein, also known as PAI-1. PAI-1 is a key regulator of the fibrinolytic system and plays a critical role in blood clot formation and dissolution. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. The Serpine1 Polyclonal Antibody binds specifically to the Serpine1 protein, enabling accurate detection and analysis in various cell types.
This makes it an ideal choice for studies in cardiovascular disease, thrombosis, and other conditions related to abnormal clotting processes. Understanding the regulation and function of PAI-1 is essential for developing targeted therapeutics to prevent or treat these conditions.Overall, the Serpine1 Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable tool for researchers investigating the role of Serpine1 in health and disease, offering high sensitivity and specificity for a variety of experimental applications.
Product Name:
PAI-1/Serpin E1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB12102
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG

Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 24-158 of human PAI-1/Serpin E1 (NP_000593.1).
This gene encodes a member of the serine proteinase inhibitor (serpin) superfamily. This member is the principal inhibitor of tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) and urokinase (uPA), and hence is an inhibitor of fibrinolysis. The protein also functions as a component of innate antiviral immunity. Defects in this gene are the cause of plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 deficiency (PAI-1 deficiency), and high concentrations of the gene product are associated with thrombophilia.
