Description
SERPINE1 Monoclonal Antibody [PAT1C5AT] (CPAB0255)
The Serpine1 Polyclonal Antibody (CPAB0255) is a crucial tool for researchers studying Serpine1, a protein involved in various biological processes, including blood clotting, inflammation, and tissue remodeling. This antibody, raised in rabbits, shows high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to the Serpine1 protein, this antibody allows for accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it a valuable asset for studies in fields such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, and wound healing.Serpine1, also known as plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1), plays a key role in regulating the balance between blood clot formation and dissolution.
Abnormalities in Serpine1 expression have been implicated in a range of pathologies, including thrombosis, fibrosis, and cancer progression. Understanding the functions and regulatory mechanisms of Serpine1 is essential for developing targeted therapies to treat these conditions and improve patient outcomes. With its high specificity and reliability, the Serpine1 Polyclonal Antibody (CPAB0255) is a valuable tool for researchers seeking to unravel the complexities of Serpine1 biology and its implications for human health.

Background: | Plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 is the principal inhibitor of tissue plasminogen activator(tPA) and urokinase(uPA), the activators of plasminogenand hence fibrinolysis(the physiological breakdown of blood clots). It is a serine protease inhibitor(serpin) protein (SERPINE1). The other PAI, plasminogen activator inhibitor-2(PAI-2) is secreted by the placentaand only present in significant amounts during pregnancy. In addition, protease nexinacts as an inhibitor of tPA and urokinase. PAI-1, however, is the main inhibitor of the plasminogen activators. |
