The SERPINC1 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody is a cutting-edge tool for researchers studying the SERPINC1 protein, also known as antithrombin III. This antibody, generated in rabbits, shows high specificity and sensitivity when detecting SERPINC1 in human samples, making it an ideal choice for Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications.SERPINC1 is a crucial protein in the regulation of blood coagulation, acting as a major inhibitor of thrombin and other coagulation factors. Dysregulation of SERPINC1 is linked to a range of thrombotic disorders, making it a key target for research in thrombosis and hemostasis.
By using the SERPINC1 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody, researchers can gain valuable insights into the function and regulation of SERPINC1 in both normal and disease states, paving the way for new therapeutic strategies in the treatment of thrombotic disorders.Overall, the SERPINC1 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody offers researchers a reliable and efficient tool for studying the role of SERPINC1 in various biological processes, with the potential for significant impact in the fields of coagulation, thrombosis, and hemostasis research.

The protein encoded by this gene, antithrombin III, is a plasma protease inhibitor and a member of the serpin superfamily. This protein inhibits thrombin as well as other activated serine proteases of the coagulation system, and it regulates the blood coagulation cascade. The protein includes two functional domains: the heparin binding-domain at the N-terminus of the mature protein, and the reactive site domain at the C-terminus. The inhibitory activity is enhanced by the presence of heparin. Numerous mutations have been identified for this gene, many of which are known to cause antithrombin-III deficiency which constitutes a strong risk factor for thrombosis. A reduction in the serum level of this protein is associated with severe cases of Coronavirus Disease 19 (COVID-19).
