The SerpinB12 Polyclonal Antibody (PACO38190) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the role of SerpinB12, a member of the serine protease inhibitor family, in various biological processes. This antibody, generated in rabbits, demonstrates high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the SerpinB12 protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it ideal for investigations in immunology and cancer research.
SerpinB12, also known as peptidase inhibitor 10, plays a crucial role in regulating protease activity and maintaining cellular homeostasis. Studies have implicated SerpinB12 in processes such as inflammation, apoptosis, and tumor growth, making it an attractive target for research on diseases like cancer, autoimmune disorders, and neurodegenerative conditions. By understanding the function of SerpinB12, researchers can potentially identify new therapeutic strategies for manipulating protease activity and modulating disease progression.
IHC image of PACO38190 diluted at 1:200 and staining in paraffin-embedded human lymph node tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.
Immunofluorescence staining of A549 cells with PACO38190 at 1:66, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).
