The SEMA3A Polyclonal Antibody (CAB12967) is a valuable tool for researchers studying SEMA3A, a protein involved in cell signaling and guidance during development and in various diseases. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in applications such as Western blotting. By targeting the SEMA3A protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis in different cell types, making it a versatile tool for studies in neuroscience, cancer research, and other fields.SEMA3A is a member of the semaphorin family of proteins, known for their roles in axon guidance, immune regulation, and cancer progression.
Its functions in repelling or attracting cells are crucial for nervous system development and vascular biology. In cancer, SEMA3A has been implicated in tumor growth, metastasis, and angiogenesis, making it a promising target for therapeutic interventions.By utilizing the SEMA3A Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can gain valuable insights into the molecular mechanisms involving SEMA3A and its implications in various physiological and pathological processes. Understanding the intricate functions of SEMA3A could lead to novel therapeutic strategies for neurodevelopmental disorders, cancer, and other conditions where semaphorins play a role.
Product Name:
SEMA3A Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB12967
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 300-400 of human Semaphorin 3A (NP_006071.1).
This gene is a member of the semaphorin family and encodes a protein with an Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domain, a PSI domain and a Sema domain. This secreted protein can function as either a chemorepulsive agent, inhibiting axonal outgrowth, or as a chemoattractive agent, stimulating the growth of apical dendrites. In both cases, the protein is vital for normal neuronal pattern development. Increased expression of this protein is associated with schizophrenia and is seen in a variety of human tumor cell lines. Also, aberrant release of this protein is associated with the progression of Alzheimer's disease.
