The SBF1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB12354) is a valuable tool for research involving the SBF1 protein, a key regulator of cell growth and division. This antibody, developed using rabbit immunization, is highly specific for human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. It targets the SBF1 protein, allowing for accurate detection and analysis in various cellular contexts, making it ideal for studies in cell biology and cancer research.SBF1 is a critical player in the control of cell cycle progression and proliferation, making it a promising target for understanding the mechanisms underlying diseases like cancer.
By studying the function and regulation of SBF1, researchers can gain insights into how aberrant cell growth occurs and potentially identify new therapeutic targets for cancer treatment. The SBF1 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for advancing our understanding of these processes and ultimately improving patient outcomes.
Product Name:
SBF1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB12354
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1630-1770 of human SBF1 (NP_002963.2).
This gene encodes a member of the protein-tyrosine phosphatase family. However, the encoded protein does not appear to be a catalytically active phosphatase because it lacks several amino acids in the catalytic pocket. This protein contains a Guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) domain which is necessary for its role in growth and differentiation. Mutations in this gene have been associated with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease 4B3. Pseudogenes of this gene have been defined on chromosomes 1 and 8.
Purification Method:
Affinity purification
