The S100A7 (Psoriasin) Polyclonal Antibody is a high-quality research tool designed for studying the S100A7 protein, also known as Psoriasin. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is specifically reactive with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the S100A7 protein, this antibody allows for accurate detection and analysis in various cell types, making it an ideal tool for researchers in the fields of dermatology, oncology, and inflammation.S100A7, a member of the S100 family of calcium-binding proteins, is known for its involvement in inflammatory skin disorders such as psoriasis. It has also been implicated in promoting tumorigenesis and tumor progression in various cancers.
The S100A7 Polyclonal Antibody provides researchers with a valuable tool for investigating the role of S100A7 in these pathological conditions, opening up possibilities for the development of targeted therapies and diagnostic tools.By utilizing the S100A7 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can gain a deeper understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying skin inflammation, cancer progression, and other conditions associated with S100A7 dysregulation. This antibody holds great potential for advancing our knowledge of these diseases and for facilitating the development of novel treatment strategies.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the S100 family of proteins containing 2 EF-hand calcium-binding motifs. S100 proteins are localized in the cytoplasm and/or nucleus of a wide range of cells, and involved in the regulation of a number of cellular processes such as cell cycle progression and differentiation. S100 genes include at least 13 members which are located as a cluster on chromosome 1q21. This protein differs from the other S100 proteins of known structure in its lack of calcium binding ability in one EF-hand at the N-terminus. The protein is overexpressed in hyperproliferative skin diseases, exhibits antimicrobial activities against bacteria and induces immunomodulatory activities.
