The RPS19 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB3675) is a powerful tool for researchers studying RPS19, a key protein involved in ribosome biogenesis. This antibody, developed using innovative monoclonal antibody technology in rabbits, is highly specific and sensitive for detecting RPS19 in human samples.RPS19 is essential for the proper assembly of ribosomes, the cellular machinery responsible for protein synthesis. Mutations in RPS19 have been linked to Diamond-Blackfan anemia, a rare genetic disorder characterized by a lack of red blood cell production. By targeting RPS19, researchers can gain insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying ribosome dysfunction and potential therapeutic strategies for related disorders.
This antibody is validated for use in various applications, including Western blotting and immunohistochemistry, enabling researchers to explore the role of RPS19 in different cell types and tissues. Its high affinity for RPS19 ensures reliable and accurate results, making it a valuable tool for studies in molecular biology, hematology, and developmental biology. Unlock the potential of RPS19 research with the RPS19 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB3675).

Ribosomes, the organelles that catalyze protein synthesis, consist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. Together these subunits are composed of 4 RNA species and approximately 80 structurally distinct proteins. This gene encodes a ribosomal protein that is a component of the 40S subunit. The protein belongs to the S19E family of ribosomal proteins. It is located in the cytoplasm. Mutations in this gene cause Diamond-Blackfan anemia (DBA), a constitutional erythroblastopenia characterized by absent or decreased erythroid precursors, in a subset of patients. This suggests a possible extra-ribosomal function for this gene in erythropoietic differentiation and proliferation, in addition to its ribosomal function. Higher expression levels of this gene in some primary colon carcinomas compared to matched normal colon tissues has been observed. As is typical for genes encoding ribosomal proteins, there are multiple processed pseudogenes of this gene dispersed through the genome.
