The RPL34 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15716) is a crucial tool for researchers studying the ribosomal protein L34 (RPL34), a key component of the ribosome involved in protein synthesis. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the RPL34 protein, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of RPL34 in various cell types, making it ideal for studies in molecular biology and genetics.RPL34 is essential for the proper functioning of the ribosome and plays a critical role in protein synthesis, making it a target of interest in research related to gene expression and cellular growth.
Understanding the function and regulation of RPL34 is important for advancing our knowledge of fundamental biological processes and developing potential therapies for diseases related to protein synthesis dysfunction.Overall, the RPL34 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15716) is a valuable tool for researchers seeking to investigate the role of RPL34 in cellular processes and further our understanding of protein synthesis mechanisms. Its high specificity and reactivity make it a reliable choice for experiments in molecular biology, genetics, and related disciplines.

Ribosomes, the organelles that catalyze protein synthesis, consist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. Together these subunits are composed of 4 RNA species and approximately 80 structurally distinct proteins. This gene encodes a ribosomal protein that is a component of the 60S subunit. The protein belongs to the L34E family of ribosomal proteins. It is located in the cytoplasm. This gene originally was thought to be located at 17q21, but it has been mapped to 4q. Overexpression of this gene has been observed in some cancer cells. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants, all encoding the same isoform. As is typical for genes encoding ribosomal proteins, there are multiple processed pseudogenes of this gene dispersed through the genome.
