The RPL13 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB4083) is a valuable tool for researchers investigating ribosomal protein L13 (RPL13), a critical component of the ribosome involved in protein synthesis. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to RPL13, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of RPL13 in various cell types, making it an essential reagent for studies in molecular biology and cell biology.RPL13 is essential for the proper functioning of the ribosome, the cellular machinery responsible for translating genetic information into proteins. Dysregulation of ribosomal proteins like RPL13 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and genetic disorders.
As such, research into the functions and regulation of RPL13 is crucial for understanding these diseases and developing potential therapeutic interventions.By using the RPL13 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB4083), researchers can explore the role of RPL13 in protein synthesis and its potential implications in disease pathology. This antibody opens up new opportunities for in-depth investigation into the functions of RPL13 and its involvement in various cellular processes, providing valuable insights for future research and drug discovery efforts.

Ribosomes, the organelles that catalyze protein synthesis, consist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. Together these subunits are composed of 4 RNA species and approximately 80 structurally distinct proteins. This gene encodes a ribosomal protein that is a component of the 60S subunit. The protein belongs to the L13E family of ribosomal proteins. It is located in the cytoplasm. This gene is expressed at significantly higher levels in benign breast lesions than in breast carcinomas. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been found for this gene. As is typical for genes encoding ribosomal proteins, there are multiple processed pseudogenes of this gene dispersed through the genome.
