The RPL11 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB13542) is a valuable tool for researchers studying RPL11, a ribosomal protein involved in protein synthesis and cellular growth. This antibody is produced in rabbits and is highly specific for human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot applications. By targeting the RPL11 protein, this antibody allows for accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it a versatile tool for studies in molecular biology and cancer research.
RPL11 is a key player in ribosome biogenesis and protein translation, making it a crucial component in cell growth and proliferation. Dysregulation of RPL11 has been linked to various diseases, including cancer and developmental disorders, highlighting the importance of studying its function. By utilizing the RPL11 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can gain insight into the role of RPL11 in cellular processes and potentially identify new therapeutic targets for disease treatment.

Ribosomes, the organelles that catalyze protein synthesis, consist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. Together these subunits are composed of 4 RNA species and approximately 80 structurally distinct proteins. This gene encodes a ribosomal protein that is a component of the 60S subunit. The protein belongs to the L5P family of ribosomal proteins. It is located in the cytoplasm. The protein probably associates with the 5S rRNA. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. As is typical for genes encoding ribosomal proteins, there are multiple processed pseudogenes of this gene dispersed through the genome.
