The RORA Polyclonal Antibody (CAB6971) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the RORA protein, a key transcription factor involved in regulating circadian rhythms and immune responses. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity to human samples, making it suitable for use in Western blot applications.RORA, also known as the RAR-related orphan receptor alpha, plays a crucial role in modulating various physiological processes, including the regulation of immune cell function and the maintenance of proper circadian rhythms.
Dysregulation of RORA has been implicated in autoimmune diseases, inflammatory disorders, and cancer, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target.By using the RORA Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can effectively detect and analyze RORA protein levels in different cell types, facilitating studies in immunology, chronobiology, and oncology. Understanding the molecular mechanisms governed by RORA is essential for developing targeted therapies that manipulate circadian rhythms and immune responses for the treatment of various diseases.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the NR1 subfamily of nuclear hormone receptors. It can bind as a monomer or as a homodimer to hormone response elements upstream of several genes to enhance the expression of those genes. The encoded protein has been shown to interact with NM23-2, a nucleoside diphosphate kinase involved in organogenesis and differentiation, as well as with NM23-1, the product of a tumor metastasis suppressor candidate gene. Also, it has been shown to aid in the transcriptional regulation of some genes involved in circadian rhythm. Four transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene.
