The ROCK1 Monoclonal Antibody (CAB11158) is a vital tool for researchers studying ROCK1, a protein kinase involved in various cellular processes such as cell migration, proliferation, and cytoskeletal dynamics. This antibody, produced through monoclonal antibody technology, demonstrates high specificity and sensitivity in detecting ROCK1 protein in a variety of sample types, including human tissues and cell lines.ROCK1 is a key regulator of actin cytoskeleton organization and cell adhesion, making it a crucial player in cell motility and tissue morphogenesis. Dysregulation of ROCK1 has been linked to cancer metastasis, cardiovascular diseases, and neurological disorders, making it a promising therapeutic target for drug development.
By utilizing the ROCK1 Monoclonal Antibody, researchers can further elucidate the role of ROCK1 in disease progression and potentially identify novel treatment strategies. This antibody is validated for use in Western blotting, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry applications, allowing for versatile detection and visualization of ROCK1 protein expression. Its reliability and consistency make it an essential tool for studies in cell biology, cancer research, and drug discovery aimed at targeting ROCK1 signaling pathways.

This gene encodes a protein serine/threonine kinase that is activated when bound to the GTP-bound form of Rho. The small GTPase Rho regulates formation of focal adhesions and stress fibers of fibroblasts, as well as adhesion and aggregation of platelets and lymphocytes by shuttling between the inactive GDP-bound form and the active GTP-bound form. Rho is also essential in cytokinesis and plays a role in transcriptional activation by serum response factor. This protein, a downstream effector of Rho, phosphorylates and activates LIM kinase, which in turn, phosphorylates cofilin, inhibiting its actin-depolymerizing activity. A pseudogene, related to this gene, is also located on chromosome 18.
