The RNASE1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB6202) is a valuable tool for researchers studying RNASE1, an essential enzyme involved in RNA degradation and innate immune response. This antibody, produced in rabbits, shows high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to RNASE1, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it ideal for research in immunology, infectious diseases, and cancer biology.RNASE1, also known as pancreatic ribonuclease, plays a critical role in host defense against pathogens by degrading viral RNA and modulating immune responses.
Its dysregulation has been linked to various diseases, including viral infections and cancer. Studying the function of RNASE1 is crucial for understanding its role in disease pathology and developing targeted therapies for conditions related to RNA metabolism and immune regulation.Overall, the RNASE1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB6202) offers researchers a reliable tool for investigating the biological functions of RNASE1 and its potential implications in human health and disease.
Product Name:
RNASE1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB6202
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Mouse
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 29-156 of human RNASE1 (NP_937875.1).
This gene encodes a member of the pancreatic-type of secretory ribonucleases, a subset of the ribonuclease A superfamily. The encoded endonuclease cleaves internal phosphodiester RNA bonds on the 3'-side of pyrimidine bases. It prefers poly(C) as a substrate and hydrolyzes 2',3'-cyclic nucleotides, with a pH optimum near 8.0. The encoded protein is monomeric and more commonly acts to degrade ds-RNA over ss-RNA. Alternative splicing occurs at this locus and four transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified.
