The RNF7 Antibody (CAB7301) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and is validated for use in various applications, including Western blotting.RNF7 is known to be involved in the regulation of protein degradation, specifically targeting proteins for ubiquitination and subsequent degradation by the proteasome. This process plays a crucial role in maintaining cellular homeostasis and is implicated in various cellular processes, including cell cycle regulation, signal transduction, and DNA repair.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IF/ICC, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human samples.

The protein encoded by this gene is a highly conserved ring finger protein. It is an essential subunit of SKP1-cullin/CDC53-F box protein ubiquitin ligases, which are a part of the protein degradation machinery important for cell cycle progression and signal transduction. This protein interacts with, and is a substrate of, casein kinase II (CSNK2A1/CKII). The phosphorylation of this protein by CSNK2A1 has been shown to promote the degradation of IkappaBalpha (CHUK/IKK-alpha/IKBKA) and p27Kip1(CDKN1B). Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported.
