The Rheb Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB3702) is a cutting-edge research tool for studying Rheb, a critical protein involved in cell growth and proliferation. This highly reactive antibody, produced in rabbits, is specifically designed for use in Western blot applications and is validated for its ability to bind to Rheb protein in human samples.Rheb, a member of the Ras superfamily of small GTPases, plays a crucial role in the mTOR signaling pathway, which regulates cell growth, metabolism, and autophagy. Dysregulation of Rheb has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, neurodevelopmental disorders, and metabolic syndromes, making it an important target for research in molecular biology and pharmacology.
By using the Rheb Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB3702), researchers can accurately detect and analyze Rheb expression in different cell types, providing valuable insights into its function and signaling pathways. This antibody is an essential tool for investigating the role of Rheb in various physiological and pathological processes, ultimately contributing to the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting Rheb-related diseases.

This gene is a member of the small GTPase superfamily and encodes a lipid-anchored, cell membrane protein with five repeats of the RAS-related GTP-binding region. This protein is vital in regulation of growth and cell cycle progression due to its role in the insulin/TOR/S6K signaling pathway. The protein has GTPase activity and shuttles between a GDP-bound form and a GTP-bound form, and farnesylation of the protein is required for this activity. Three pseudogenes have been mapped, two on chromosome 10 and one on chromosome 22.
