The RELA Polyclonal Antibody (CAB16728) is a powerful tool for researchers studying the NF-κB pathway, a key signaling pathway involved in inflammation, immune response, and cell survival. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific to the RELA protein and is validated for use in Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications.RELA, also known as p65, is a subunit of the NF-κB transcription factor complex, which plays a crucial role in regulating genes involved in immunity, inflammation, and cell growth. Dysregulation of the NF-κB pathway has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory conditions.
The RELA Polyclonal Antibody allows for precise detection and analysis of RELA protein levels in various cell types, providing valuable insights into the role of NF-κB signaling in disease pathogenesis.By using the RELA Polyclonal Antibody in their research, scientists can gain a better understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying inflammatory responses and immune regulation. This antibody is an essential tool for investigating the role of NF-κB signaling in disease development and progression, ultimately leading to the development of new therapeutic strategies targeting this pathway.

NF-kappa-B is a ubiquitous transcription factor involved in several biological processes. It is held in the cytoplasm in an inactive state by specific inhibitors. Upon degradation of the inhibitor, NF-kappa-B moves to the nucleus and activates transcription of specific genes. NF-kappa-B is composed of NFKB1 or NFKB2 bound to either REL, RELA, or RELB. The most abundant form of NF-kappa-B is NFKB1 complexed with the product of this gene, RELA. Four transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
