The RELA Polyclonal Antibody (CAB11204) is a versatile tool for research related to the RELA protein, a key player in the NF-κB signaling pathway involved in inflammation, cell proliferation, and survival. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity towards human samples, making it ideal for Western blot applications.RELA, also known as p65, is a crucial transcription factor that regulates the expression of numerous genes involved in immune response, cell survival, and inflammatory processes.
Dysregulation of RELA activity has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory conditions.By targeting the RELA protein, the CAB11204 antibody allows for the detection and analysis of RELA in different cell types, providing valuable insights into its role in disease pathogenesis. Researchers in immunology, oncology, and inflammation can benefit from the use of this antibody to further their understanding of RELA and its potential as a therapeutic target.

NF-kappa-B is a ubiquitous transcription factor involved in several biological processes. It is held in the cytoplasm in an inactive state by specific inhibitors. Upon degradation of the inhibitor, NF-kappa-B moves to the nucleus and activates transcription of specific genes. NF-kappa-B is composed of NFKB1 or NFKB2 bound to either REL, RELA, or RELB. The most abundant form of NF-kappa-B is NFKB1 complexed with the product of this gene, RELA. Four transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
