Human Vitronectin/VTN Recombinant Protein
Vitronectin is a protein that acts as an adhesive glycoprotein, connecting cells to the extracellular matrix by binding to multiple ligands. Vitronectin has the ability to promote either cell adhesion or migration. Integrins, plasminogen activator inhibitor-1, and urokinase plasminogen activator receptors are examples of ligands. Vitronectin is a protein that may be found in the plasma as a monomer or dimer and has many molecules when it exists outside of the body. Vitronectin is associated with two disorders: camppetodactyly-arthropathy-coxa vara-pericarditis syndrome and glanzmann thrombasthenia. Human Vitronectin/VTN Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
