Human RBP1 Recombinant Protein
The Retinol-binding protein 1 (RBP1) gene encodes the liver storage site transporter for vitamin A alcohol, also known as retinol (vitamin A alcohol). Vitamin A is a fat-soluble vitamin that is required for cell growth and differentiation. Endometrial hyperplasia and blepharophimosis are both diseases associated with RBP1. Water-soluble vitamins and cofactors, as well as signaling pathways, are all related to Retinol-binding protein 1 (RBP1). RBP1 accepts retinol from the transport protein STRA6 and contributes to retinol uptake, storage, and homeostasis. Human RBP1 Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
