Human Protamine-2/PRM2 Recombinant Protein
RRM2 is one of two non-identical ribonucleotide reductase subunits. RRM2 is responsible formation of deoxyribonucleotides from ribonucleotides. The encoded protein (M2) is generated via a cell-cycle-dependent process. RRM2 transcription can start from two different promoters, resulting in two isoforms with different N-termini lengths. It's also been observed on chromosomes 1 and X that RRM2 pseudogenes have been identified. Choriocarcinoma and Diamond-Blackfan Anemia 20 are two diseases related to RRM2. Pyrimidine metabolism and E2F-mediated DNA replication regulation are two related pathways to RRM2. Human Protamine-2/PRM2 Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
