The deficiency of pancreatic lipase, a rare condition characterized by steatorrhea, is due to mutations in PancreaticLipase/PNLIP. There are two different pathways related to PNLIP lipoprotein metabolism, as well as the metabolism of water-soluble vitamins and cofactors.
