Rhesus/Canine BMP-2 Recombinant Protein
BMP-2 protein plays an important role in the development of bone and cartilage, like other bone morphogenetic proteins. The hedgehog pathway, TGF beta signalling pathway, and cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction are all affected by BMP-2. The BMP-2 and BMP-7 genes encode osteogenic BMPs that have been shown to effectively induce osteoblast differentiation in a variety of cell types. BMP-2, BMP-4, and BMP-7 are known to be critical in the formation and repair of bones. BMP-2 protein is present in malignant tissues and may be important in the development of glioma. Rhesus/Canine BMP-2 Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
