Human KLF6 Recombinant Protein
Krueppel-Like Factor 6 (KLF6) belongs to the krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. KLF6 contains three C2H2-type zinc fingers and localizes in the nucleus. The highest levels of Klf6 expression are found in the placenta, followed by the spleen, thymus, prostate, testis, small intestine and colon. However, in the pancreas, lung, liver, heart, and skeletal muscle, KLF6 is poorly expressed. KLF6 functions as a transcriptional activator and could play a role in B-cell growth and development. Defects in KLF6 will result in gastric cancer and prostate cancer. Human KLF6 Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
