Human IDH1 Recombinant Protein (R132H, C-8His)
Isovalerate dehydrogenase [NADP] Cytoplasmic (IDH1) is part of the isocitrate and isopropylmalate dehydrogenases family. The protein IDH1 is a dimer that binds one magnesium or manganese ion per subunit. Metaphyseal chondromatosis with aciduria is observed in patients who have a mutation of IDH1. Glioma occurs as a result of mutations of IDH1. The enzyme IDH is involved in the regeneration of NADPH for intracellular reductions, such as conversion of 2; 4-dienoyl-CoAs to 3-enoyl-CoAs; and peroxisomal reactions that consume 2-oxoglutarate, such as alpha-hydroxylation of phytanic. Human IDH1 Recombinant Protein (R132H, C-8His) is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
