Human CXCL12/SDF Recombinant Protein
Stromal Cell-Derived Factor-1 (SDF-1) is a chemokine member of the intercrine family. The C-terminal tail distinguishes the five SDF1 molecular forms. The primary difference between SDF1 alpha and beta is that the four amino acids at the C-terminus of SDF1 beta but absent from SDF1 alpha. CXCR4 and CXCR7 receptors on the cell surface are responsible for SDF1 binding; it can also bind syndecan4. SDF1 is known to regulate patterning and cell number of neural progenitors, as well as angiogenesis. It also boosts the survival of myeloid precursor cells. Human CXCL12/SDF Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
