Human CXCL12/SDF Recombinant Protein
Stromal Cell-Derived Factor-1 (SDF-1) is a chemokine member of the intercrine family. The SDF1 protein has five isomers, each with a different C-terminal tail. The SDF1 molecules are identical except for the four amino acids present in the C-terminus of SDF1 beta that are absent in SDF1 alpha. The SDF1 isoforms interact with CXCR4 and CXCR7 receptors on the cell surface; they can also bind syndecan 4. SDF1 has been shown to affect lymphopoiesis, patterning and cell number of neural progenitors, as well as angiogenesis. It also aids in the survival of myeloid progenitor cells. Human CXCL12/SDF Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
