Human CTGF/CCN2 Recombinant Protein
The CTGF protein belongs to the CCN (CTGF/Cyr61/Cef10/NOVH) family, which includes six extracellular matrix-anchored secreted proteins. CTGF causes a variety of cellular responses including reduced cell adhesion and enhanced cell migration and proliferation. Epithelial to Mesenchymal Transition (EMT), a cellular change that occurs when cells lose their ability to proliferate and is characterized by the transformation of normal functioning cells into ones that primarily create scar tissue, has been linked to CTGF. Human CTGF/CCN2 Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
