CLM-9, also known as TREM4, is a receptor that belongs to the TREM family. TREM receptors control the function of several types of immune system cells, including neutrophils, monocyte/macrophages, microglia, and dendritic cells. L-selectin may induce the rolling of leukocytes, which is aided by the presence of CLM-9. It binds SELL in a calcium-dependent manner. It also binds to lymphocytes, indicating that it is involved in lymphocyte adherence. The CLM-9 main transcript is highly expressed in the human heart, skeletal muscle, and placenta. Analysis has revealed that the mouse protein is expressed in capillary endothelial cells. Human CLM-9 binds to human IgA2 and mouse IgM receptors. Human CLM-9/TREM4 Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
