Human CCL28 Recombinant Protein

CCL28 is a novel chemokine that has the closest homology to CCL27/CTACK. CCL28 promotes chemotaxis of resting CD4, CD8 T-cells, and eosinophils. It binds to CCR3 and CCR10, causing calcium release in a dose-dependent manner. CCR10 (GPR2 orphan receptor) is also the target of CCL27/CTACK. CCL28 is mostly expressed by epithelial cells in a variety of tissues, with the highest level of expression seen in the normal and diseased colon. CCL28 is expressed in both normal and asthmatic lung tissues. In their mature sequences, human and murine CCL28 have 83% identity. Human CCL28 Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
