Human CCL11/Eotaxin Recombinant Protein
C-C Motif Chemokine 11 (CCL11) is a secreted protein that belongs to the intercrine beta (chemokine CC) family. CCL11 activates eosinophils, a hallmark of allergic responses when allergens are detected. CCL11's actions are regulated by its interaction with a G-protein-linked receptor known as a chemokine receptor. Chemokine receptors for CCL11 include CCR2, CCR3 and CCR5. CCL11, on the other hand, has been discovered to have a high degree of selectivity for its receptor, with inactive receptors present on neutrophils and monocytes that do not express CCR3. Human CCL11/Eotaxin Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
